I am a Carolina girl.  Born in SC. Raised in the foothills of NC and the Lowcountry of SC. Over the years, and with diverse interests,  I have worked in various fields, including health & wellness, animal care and training, as well business operations and sales.
 
Until a few years ago, I never imagined I'd be called to help others with insurance. I 'fell' into the insurance industry while helping my dad in his last years, in beautiful SW Virginia.  As an agent, I was able to review my dad's insurance with "new eyes" and understanding and found different Medicare options that were a better fit for his circumstances.  It  made a significant difference in his access to the best medical care when he needed it the most.
 
After my dad passed, I moved back to SC and launched Nowell Insurance, working as an Independent Agent / Advisor; continuing to help people navigate changes to Medicare and other health and related insurance options; finding the best available solutions for their unique circumstances, concerns and budget. 
 
My goal is to educate, advise and support. Not “sell”. There’s a big difference.
 
I enjoy meeting and helping people (and animals),  in whatever ways I can.
